NetApp RIS LUN Add-on service Qty 5 (Windows / VMware)
This service brief describes the Rapid Installation Service Add-on extensions for NetApp equipment. These services can only be purchased as an add-on to any RIS standard installation service to help ensure that the base installation/implementation services are completed efficiently and correctly. Add up to 5 additional LUNs per SKU (above) to NetApp Appliance, using Data ONTAP to configure LUN’s available to the system’s Hosts (based upon EHOST-Add SKU).
This installation is scheduled and performed during normal Business Hours.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Auto-Support is enabled and operational on the Existing System. If not feasible then AutoSupport must be delivered to Project Coordinator via email.
• Outbound/Upstream network connectivity is in place and configured prior to the engineer being onsite
• Host, Switches, Servers and HBA’s Hardware and FW versions are validated by the customer through the V-Series Support Matrix at http://now.netapp.com/matrix/. BIOS, OS Patch level, HBA Driver, and Firmware version, must also be updated as needed. The host network and Fabric connectivity should be configured and in place prior to engineer being onsite.
• Host Clients must be pre-configured with their OS and all physical connectivity to the switches that are connected to theNetApp Storage System.

PROVIDER RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation
• Engineer configures the number of additional LUNs purchased on top of the RIS using the Matrix, purchased in intervals of 5.
• Engineer verifies that the host is a NetApp Supported WinTel or VMware system.
• Setup and configure network interfaces (initiators), based upon topology at customer site (iSCSI, FCP, SAS or IB). Install and configure NetApp Supported Multipath MPIO software for Hosts to maintain HA.
• Using Data ONTAP, connect the LUNs created for each host. The number of LUNs to be connected during each installation is defined by the number purchased in the RIS (1-5, 6-10, 11-15, or more in multiples of 5).
Verification and testing
• Engineer Verifies new Host’s Access to controllers and disks/LUNs
• Engineer provides a quick orientation of Data ONTAP’s LUN Management functions.
ASSUMPTIONS
• Arrow engineers will have the appropriate level of physical as well as remote access to customer staff and hardware as required to complete the project
• All Equipment and licenses will be onsite prior to implementation
• All network connections will be in place
• All work will be completed in one physical location
ENGAGEMENT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
• The following planning tasks will be performed:
• Minimum lead time for scheduling is 10 business days, all work done during business hours
– Additional fee for expedited scheduling of less than 10 business days will apply
– Additional fee for onsite services outside of standard delivery map
– Additional fee for services outside of business hours
• Coordinate kickoff and close out calls
• Create/distribute escalation and contact lists
• Facilitate Change Orders
OUT OF SCOPE
• Configuration, installation, or testing of any portion of the data network
• Implementing software to provide backup and recovery functions
• Any additional hardware, software, or network configuration.
• Any change to the hardware, software, or network configuration.
• Modification of the customer’s application software.
• Fabric switch zoning (unless applicable to switch install SKU)
• Active Directory tasks
• DNS tasks
• Host level support.
• Development of custom solutions including without limitation, scripting.
• Multiple, basic installation services requiring project management services.
• Validating or verifying optimal application environment operations.
• Troubleshooting existing problems or issues.
• Trash Removal (unless customer provides access to on-site)

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any sale of services will be subject to Arrow's standard Terms and Conditions of Sale or a Services Agreement as negotiated between the parties
